Orchard Harvest Day

Winterbourne Medieval Barn

11am - 4pm

Orchard Harvest Day is back! Visit the amazing Winterbourne Medieval Barn for a fun day out for all the family.

Enjoy entertainment from Ferret-racing, 5678 School of Dance, Winterbourne Down Border Morris, Same Same but Different Puppeteers, and live music from Bygonz wandering minstrels and Piratitude, Bristol’s best (or at least silliest) pirate-themed raucous singalong folk-rock and sea shanty band, fresh from Glastonbury Festival!

There is a good variety of artisan crafts stalls, as well as plenty of high quality food and drink all day. For our younger visitors there will be special competitions and activities, face painting and a pocket money stall.

St Michael’s Church (next door) will also be open for visitors.

£5 adults, £1 children. Pre-book tickets now online to avoid queues on the gate.

Well behaved dogs on a lead are welcome. There is plenty of bicycle parking on site for those arriving on two wheels. Free car-parking is at Winterbourne Academy and a free shuttle bus runs from there to the Barn all day. No parking is allowed on Church Lane.

Buses Y1 and Y2 (operated by First) run between Bristol and Yate along Winterbourne High Street half hourly. Bus Y6 runs from Yate to Parkway Station and The Mall via Beacon Lane and the High Street.
