Down at the Barn with Leonie Evans
Winterbourne Medieval Barn
We are delighted to welcome Leonie Evans back to the Barn for an evening of acoustic music in the unique atmosphere of the Medieval Barn. She will be joined by a special musical guest for this evening.
Multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Leonie Evans has been performing since the age of 5. She has collaborated with many musicians from all over the world to create a catalogue of albums and a strong musical family. As well as being a songwriter, Leonie also has a passion for history and plays a lot of pre-war jazz, blues, country, gospel and Latin music. Expect to hear an array of different languages and her well known ‘Frumpet’ (her name for vocal trumpet).
Doors and bar open from 7pm. Music begins at 7.30pm. £10 per person. Free parking on site. Book on Ticketsource via the Barn website.
The primary purpose of the event is to raise money for WMBT and to support conservation, management, maintenance and improvement of the WMBT site.
