11am to 3pm by the Beach in the Central Square

Children’s favourites Punch & Judy will kick off Yate’s summer of fun next week on Tuesday, 30th July, the start of a month-long programme of family entertainment.

Every Tuesday and Thursday from 11am to 3pm there will be fun, games and laughter by the Beach in Yate Shopping Centre’s Central Square for all the family to enjoy.

On the following Thursday (1st) there will be a Beach Party and full details of all the events lasting throughout August can be found on the Shopping Centre’s website below.

Yate Shopping Centre Manager, Andrew Lowrey: “Punch & Judy is always a favourite with the younger generation and guarantees the sound of laughter in the Centre at the start of what will be a very busy period throughout August. There is a wide variety of entertainment throughout the month, including Olympic themed events, to keep everybody occupied”.

The programme ends on 29th August with a ‘Day at the Movies’ and the Beach closes on Saturday, 31st August.

• Thursday, 8th August: The Sports Guides – Cheeky sporting fun!
• Tuesday, 13th August: Bumble Bees – Buzzing with mischief!

• Thursday, 22nd August: Beach Party
• Tuesday, 27th August: Punch & Judy
• Thursday, 29th August: A Day at the Movies
