Carols in the Barn
Winterbourne Medieval Barn
Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 December, 3pm
Experience the old Christmas story told through a light-hearted drama suitable for all ages.
The magnificent medieval barn makes a very atmospheric setting for a quirky re-telling of the story by members of St Michael’s Church, and the drama is interspersed with lots of well-known traditional carols for everyone to sing along. A lovely community event and a great start to the festive season.
To get you in the festive spirit there’ll be a cup of mulled wine and a mince pie on arrival (non-alcoholic, gluten-free, and children's alternatives available), and this is included with your ticket price. The doors open from 2.15pm for you to enjoy this before the Carols at 3pm. Seating is unreserved. Additional refreshments and festive treats will be available from the bar if you wish.
Rememember, the Barn is a medieval agricultural building with minimal heating and can be pretty chilly in December, so wrap up warm in your finest festive knits! Free parking at the Barn, but space is limited so please follow the directions of parking stewards. No parking on Church Lane as this obstructs emergency vehicles and local traffic. If you need disabled parking or a wheelchair space in the Barn, please email below as soon as possible so this can be arranged.
Tickets £5 (£1 children under 16), including mulled wine and mince pie. Book online via the website. There will be no tickets for sale on the door.
