10am: Autumn Family Craft Sessions
Winterbourne Medieval Barn
Popular inclusive and relaxed family crafting sessions, starting at either 10am or 1pm.
A range of autumn themed crafts will be available, or children are welcome to use the materials provided to get creative with their own projects!
These workshops are aimed at 5 -11 year olds, but all are welcome. Under 18's must be accompanied by an adult at all times on site. There is plenty of space to move around and get creative in our beautiful medieval barn, but do remember some layers if it's a chilly day!
The Barn Bar will offer a small selection of drinks and snacks. Cash or card payments are accepted. Parking on site is free but space is limited, so please lift-share where possible. We have 2 blue badge spaces, and there is plenty of bicycle... Read more >>

11am to 4:30pm, Friday 25th Oct – Sunday 3rd Nov.
Admission £5 for children under 16, £10 for adults.
Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times inside the Mansion.
Maximum four under 16s per adult please – the cellars are dark and spooky.
No need to book in advance – just roll up! Suitable for all ages from 4 to 84. Dress up if you wish – the scarier the better!
We will also have the Golden Pumpkin Trail. This takes you around the amazing Mansion, searching for the cunningly concealed GOLDEN PUMPKINS and, hopefully, learning about the house too. Cost £1 per child, including a small edible prize at the end.
5.30pm: Bonfire Night in Iron Acton

Previous supporters will know this has become a popular local event. Unfortunately, we are restricted on numbers and expect to sell out well in advance. Please buy early as there will be no tickets available on the gate.

Our annual firework event is back for 2024... With 4 sessions over 2 days. Whether you choose the earlier or later session it will feature low noise fireworks, making it the ideal display for families.
Our firework evenings will see a display of low noise fireworks to music, a larger selection food and drink than previous years, live entertainment whilst you await the display, and fairground rides*. We will be holding 2 firework displays per night, your ticket will cover one session ONLY.

Bristol’s biggest and best Charity Fireworks Event is returning to the usual venue at King George V Playing Fields, Downend, Bristol with a great theme, “A Night at the Movies”.
This year’s incredible night of entertainment will not only include two fireworks shows, but a magical mix of music, lights and flames to entertain the crowd of all ages.
Led by Jay from Party Peeps, the fun will start at 18.00 with gates opening at 17.30 on 8th November.
We’ve heard that the legendary after party has been beefed up with lights, and foam. Lots of foam.

Thornbury Round Table are proud to again host the Thornbury fireworks display. After 3 amazing sell out years we advise booking early to avoid disappointment. Take advantage of the discounted early bird tickets available!
On the field for the event there will be a selection of stalls offering food, drinks and light up toys. There will also be a designated safe area for sparklers to be purchased and used. For your enjoyment there will be a low noise child display, real bonfire and then the main display.

4.30pm: Filton Concert Brass: 'Heroes Remembered' Concert
Chipping Sodbury Town Hall
Filton Concert Brass, Bristols leading Championship Brass Band returns to Chipping Sodbury Town Hall for our annual Remembrance Day Concert 'Heroes Remembered'.
Door & Bar opens from 4pm concert commences at 4.30pm.
The programme will include a tribute to Captain Tom named Walking with Heroes, Elgar's 'Nimrod' from his Enigma Variations, the title tracks from the motion pictures Schindler's List, Saving Private Ryan and Aces High, plus the beautiful 'A Nightingale Sang In Berkeley Square' to name but a few.
