Her small, friendly studio classes are ideal for beginners as well as those with some experience and anyone looking for a relaxed, non judgemental environment to make art, learn skills or maybe try something new. Severn Valley Quilters


Our meetings are held at the Cossham Hall on the 4th Wednesday of each month except July, August and December and start at 7.30pm. We try to cater for all levels of quilters from beginners to the more experienced.

The Arts Society (Severn Valley)


We are a welcoming society for people who enjoy learning about all aspects of Decorative and Fine Arts. Meetings are held generally on the third Monday in the month from October to June. Each lecture, which lasts approximately one hour, is given in the morning and afternoon. Non-members wishing to attend a lecture may be able to do so as a Guest.
In addition we arrange visits to places of historic and cultural interest and hold days of special interest. We have volunteers engaged on conservation and preservation projects and others involved in Church Recording.

Yate & Sodbury Art & Craft Club


We are looking for people to join us on a Monday evening. If you enjoy painting, drawing or other portable crafts (whatever your ability or experience) then this may be for you.

The only requirements are that you are over 16 years old, enjoy art or crafts and can bring along your own project. There is no pressure; we are a relaxed, informal & sociable bunch of people who enjoy making art.

The Centre aims to reflect the rich diversity of the Yate area’s cultural, historical, social and industrial past. This is achieved through a range of thought provoking and varied exhibitions, and a range of evening and day events including a regular series of quizzes, historical lectures and other one-off events.
